In this video, Cristina Cabuya Idagua, Alma Rosa Lijerón, and Alejandra Daza Cortez share how the initiative to create their own garden was born, guaranteeing access to food they currently have to import.

Thanks to the work of the association, the garden is becoming a way to strengthen their food sovereignty and sustain the preparation of traditional Amazonian dishes that they prepare and sell in their community. This process demonstrates how organization and care for the land strengthen the economy and daily lives of Amazonian women.
